Boréades con Brio (in collaboration with De Veerman)

With Boréades con Brio, a nocte temporis and De Veerman join forces for a project week where historical music, movement and imagination come together. Inspired by Rameau’s Les Boréades, children discover that classical music is a living, physical and creative art form.

Throughout the week, artists from De Veerman guide them in movement, play, improvisation and storytelling. The music provided by a nocte temporis forms the artistic foundation: a baroque sound world that becomes a playground for exploring emotions, building stories and expressing ideas.

Co‑creation is central. The music comes to life through the children themselves - in dance, gesture, play and small musical interventions. This artistic process creates a meaningful exchange between professional musicians and young participants.

The week concludes with a presentation in which the children share their creations with parents, teachers and classmates. This festive moment will take place on 5 June at 14:00 in the Stadsschouwburg.
