Our newest recording, Médée et Jason by Jean‑François Salomon, has been released by Château de Versailles Spectacles and marks a new milestone in our commitment to rediscovering forgotten Baroque gems.
With Médée et Jason, a nocte temporis brings back to life a tragédie lyrique that had disappeared from the stage for centuries. Composed by Jean‑François Salomon, a contemporary of Rameau, the work combines dramatic intensity with refined orchestral writing, yet remained largely unknown. Through meticulous source study and a historically informed approach, the ensemble has revived this remarkable score.
Produced in collaboration with Château de Versailles Spectacles, the recording reflects our ongoing mission to uncover and share the richness of lesser‑known French Baroque repertoire with a wide audience.
